Job summary

Salamander Middleburg is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our luxury resort in Middleburg, Virginia. This role requires strong financial acumen, luxury hospitality experience, and a proven ability to develop and inspire high-performing culinary teams.

You will provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all culinary operations across the resort, including restaurants, banquets, catering, in-room dining, and special events, delivering exceptional food

• Strong financial management of food costs, labor, budgets, and P&L

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for all resort culinary operations.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and inspire the culinary leadership team and kitchen professionals.
• Create innovative, seasonally inspired menus that enhance guest experience.
• Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Oversee culinary operations for restaurants, banquets, catering, in-room dining, and events.
• Manage costs, labor, purchasing, inventory, and operating expenses to meet financial goals.
• Establish purchasing, inventory, portion-control, and cost-control practices.
• Collaborate with Executive Committee and F&B leadership to support resort objectives.
