Job summary

Cherry Talent Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for on-site leadership in Santa Fe, NM. You will own the construction schedule, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all work aligns with architectural plans and design details for luxury residential projects.

The ideal candidate will read architectural plans confidently, manage trades, and maintain progress from start to finish while upholding the highest quality standards and safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency reading and interpreting architectural residential building plans and construction drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and maintain construction schedules with subcontractor accountability.
• Experience overseeing multiple trades on high-end residential construction projects.
• Attention to detail in reviewing architectural drawings and design specifications.
• Hands-on leadership with clear expectations and accountability for subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the construction schedule, coordinating subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and milestones to keep work on track.
• Read and work directly from architectural plans and specifications to ensure work conforms to approved design and details.
• Oversee daily job-site operations for high-end residential construction and remodeling projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure work proceeds in proper sequence and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against schedule, identify delays, and develop proactive solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Conduct regular job-site inspections to verify workmanship, dimensions, materials, and installation details.
• Identify plan-field discrepancies, communicate issues, and coordinate resolutions before work proceeds.
• Maintain communication with project management and stakeholders regarding schedules and outstanding items.
• Monitor material availability and deliveries to minimize downtime and conflicts.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites reflecting luxury standards.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and permits.
• Manage punch lists, final walkthroughs, and project closeout to meet quality expectations.
