Job summary

DISHER is partnering with a local construction company to hire a Residential Site Superintendent for Portage, MI. You’ll lead daily activities on-site, ensuring craftsmanship and design intent for high-end homes. You’ll work closely with a Lead Project Manager to keep schedules tight and finishes premium.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication with trades, and proactive problem solving on complex, custom builds. OSHA certification and CM software familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in residential construction
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior design plans
• Excellent communication with trades, designers, and internal teams
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship quality
• Experience managing complex, custom high-end homes

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction activities for luxury custom homes on site
• Ensure work aligns with plans while protecting premium materials
• Coordinate phase-by-phase schedules and trades
• Plan around inspections and long-lead materials, identifying risks
• Conduct on-site quality inspections and maintain design intent
• Manage punch lists and closeout documentation
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain site organization
