Job summary

DiStefano Brothers Construction, Inc. in Rhode Island is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field teams and drive projects on time and to high craftsmanship standards.

You will coordinate on-site carpenters, trade partners, and daily operations while maintaining rigorous safety and quality controls. You will be supported by project managers and back-office staff, enabling you to focus on field leadership, scheduling, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-end residential remodels,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on supervisory or field leadership experience in residential construction.
• Strong understanding of residential building codes and construction sequencing.
• Excellent communication skills and track record of managing crews and sub-trades.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; OSHA 10 preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and manage in-house carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Build 2–3 week lookahead schedules; run daily site huddles; ensure materials/tools are staged.
• Maintain quality and safety with daily site inspections and OSHA standards.
• Use Buildertrend or similar field management software for updates and photo documentation.
