Job summary

Sunday Building Co. is seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Estimator and Project Consultant in Charlotte.

The role blends estimating expertise with client communication to evaluate renovation opportunities, develop detailed scopes, and guide homeowners through proposals and signed agreements. You will meet homeowners, coordinate with design teams, and ensure plans align with budgets while protecting profitability.

Qualifications

• Four+ years as residential construction estimator/PM/production lead or similar role.
• Five+ years in residential remodeling/renovation experience preferred.
• Experience estimating high-end kitchens, baths, additions, whole-home renovations.
• Ability to read architectural/structural plans; create takeoffs and bid packages.
• CRM/estimation software experience preferred (Buildertrend or similar).

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective homeowners to understand goals, investment, and expectations.
• Evaluate kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations.
• Perform site visits, measurements, takeoffs, and condition assessments.
• Read drawings and design documents; develop detailed scopes and estimates.
• Prepare budgets, estimates, bid packages, and proposals.
• Explain scope and pricing clearly to homeowners; guide through proposals.
• Coordinate handoff to production team and maintain project data in the system.
