Job summary

HV Talent Group is hiring a Project Engineer to support a luxury residential construction project in South Florida. The role focuses on project controls, document management, RFIs, submittals, inspections, punch lists, and closeout, offering hands-on experience and exposure to both office and field operations.

You will work closely with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure successful execution, while developing a long-term career in commercial construction project management.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience supporting commercial construction projects or related internship/co‑op program.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, drawing revisions, and project documentation.
• Maintain project logs, document control, and tracking systems.
• Support procurement activities by monitoring material deliveries and vendor schedules.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.
• Help prepare closeout packages, warranty documentation, O&M manuals, and turnover records.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors to resolve issues.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project leadership.
• Maintain accurate records with timely follow-up on action items.
