Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will perform treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and contribute to a luxurious, patient-centered rehabilitation environment for short-term residents.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Florida PTA license, have experience in geriatric or long-term care settings, and demonstrate strong documentation and collaboration

Qualifications

• Must have a valid FL PTA license.
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and timely progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and Federal Residents Rights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Provide feedback to the supervising PT via documentation.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure patient-centered treatment and care.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.
• Adhere to facility policy and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
