Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is seeking a dedicated House Person to maintain public areas and support core housekeeping spaces to ensure a 5-Star Forbes-standard guest experience. You will assist with cleaning, restocking, and guest services on guest floors and in back-of-house areas.

Under the direction of the Supervisor Housekeeping, you will deliver guest requests within ten minutes, follow OSHA chemical safety rules, and help motivate a diverse team while reporting maintenance issues

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping service techniques and productivity expectations.
• Ability to identify and prioritize issues.
• Ability to assist guests with requests and communicate with office coordinator or supervisor.
• Personable and professional with discretion in communication.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all public areas in guest view and heart of house areas; restocks carts and conducts deep cleaning as directed.
• Delivers guest requests within ten minutes in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follows OSHA chemical handling and labeling rules; ensures safe use of equipment.
• Motivates team members; leads by example and coaches throughout employment lifecycle.
• Reports maintenance issues to the Office Coordinator or Supervisor as needed.
• Performs other duties to support department efficiency.
