Comstock is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a luxury apartment community in Reston, VA. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry, while delivering proactive maintenance and exceptional resident service.

The role emphasizes responsiveness, clear communication, and a resident-first approach, with on-call rotations and opportunities to impact property quality and safety.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
Maintenance experience with minimum 1 year.
CFC Universal Certification preferred.
HVAC, electrical and plumbing system knowledge required.
Outgoing personality with strong communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

Provide Class A customer service; build rapport with residents.
Perform repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of interior and exterior areas.
Protect and improve asset value for the client.
Perform PM on unit-based and building-level equipment.
Respond to emergencies and on-call rotations as needed.
Repair and treat structures such as showers, sinks, doors, walls.
Make ready units for new move-ins.
Handle light landscaping and grounds tasks.
