Job summary

HILLS Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our luxury apartment communities in the Northern Cincinnati area. You will maintain all areas of the property and handle resident service requests, with on-call hours evenings and weekends.

This hands-on role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs. You’ll help keep the community safe, attractive, and well maintained, while benefiting from ongoing training, a competitive pay structure, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Thorough working knowledge of building maintenance.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, moving aids, cleaning fluids, etc.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain outdoor grounds areas, including pool area, in a safe, attractive condition.
• Inspect vacated units and perform make-ready, including painting, drywall, and carpet cleaning.
• Perform work orders and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing repairs.
• Inspect/log building lights, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems and furnace filters; replace as needed.
