The Napa Valley Reserve in St. Helena, CA, seeks an experienced Hospitality & Events Manager to design and run private Member experiences, tastings, and events with polish and discretion.

You will balance creative design with precise execution, budgeting, and cross‑department collaboration to deliver memorable moments for Members and partners. In this role you’ll lead on-site operations, liaise with catering partners and vendors, and ensure flawless guest service while protecting privacy and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of luxury hospitality or high-touch events experience.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute elevated private events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with Members and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Discretion with Member information and high standards of service.
• Foundational wine knowledge and interest in wine service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license and flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute private Member events, tastings, and special programming.
• Manage logistics from inquiry through reconciliation: budgets, timelines, menus, and staff.
• Serve as on-site lead ensuring seamless hospitality and service flow.
• Coordinate with caterers, guest chefs, vendors, and partners.
• Prepare event summaries, cost recaps, and billing details.
• Maintain records, calendars, and planning materials with cross-department teams.
