Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is seeking a Pool Attendant to deliver elevated poolside service. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, delivering items, and maintaining a pristine pool area in a luxury setting.

The role supports bartenders and other outlets, with seasonal full-time hours and a base pay of $17/hour plus tips. This position offers dining perks, resort benefits, and opportunities for growth within the Food & Beverage division.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in luxury hospitality or poolside environments.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, cocktails, and wine preferred.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-energy outdoor environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet pool guests warmly and provide towels, setup, and menu recommendations.
• Take accurate orders and input into POS system.
• Deliver poolside orders timely and maintain presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs, upsell signature drinks and menu items.
• Assist with poolside bar setup, stocking, and organization.
• Monitor cleanliness of pool deck and cabanas.
• Restock towels, water, condiments, and equipment as needed.
• Support bartenders by replenishing glassware and supplies.
• Respond to guest inquiries professionally and inform about resort amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations and guest areas.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
