Job summary

Qualifications

High school education, GED, or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of field experience maintaining pool and spa equipment, HVAC, electrical/mechanical, plumbing.
Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures and hours.
Must obtain Certified Pool Operators Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance of equipment and document all work performed.
Diagnose and repair pool and spa equipment (motors, starters, breakers, pumps, steam generators, boilers, plumbing fixtures).
Comply with Engineering Department policies and procedures.
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance in a professional and timely manner.
Respond to emergencies (evacuation, fire, power failure, flood, hurricane).
Clean shops and mechanical areas; manage inventory of parts and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
