Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a Pool Technician to maintain and repair pools, spas and related facilities, ensuring water quality, equipment function, and safety for guests and team members. This is a hands-on role that supports Starwood's commitment to guest safety and the 1 Hotel brand experience.

Requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with pool equipment, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24-hour operation. A post-secondary diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
• Experience leading in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing demands.
• Strong interpersonal, team member relations and leadership abilities.
• Familiar with Engineering operating/programs.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.
• Professional & appropriate business appearance and demeanor aligned with the 1 Hotel brand and culture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, operation, and repair of swimming pools, spas, and related aquatic facilities.
• Ensure water quality, equipment functionality, safety compliance, and a clean, inviting pool and deck environment for guests and team members.
