Job summary

The Tides Inn in Irvington, Virginia is seeking a Pool Host & Attendant to maintain the pool and beach areas and deliver exceptional guest service. You’ll keep the space clean, organized, and guest-ready while assisting with daily operations.

This full-time role requires a positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to safety and cleanliness, with shifts across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, resort, or customer service experience preferred.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to guest service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexible and dependable with shifting schedules.
• Knowledge of resort layout and amenities preferred.
• Basic English communication to assist guests and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pool area cleanliness and presentation.
• Keep pool deck organized and guest-ready; manage towels and trash.
• Provide complimentary water service and replenish beverages.
• Stock towel station; keep workstation clean and organized.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and assist with spills.
• Respond to guest requests and support special projects as assigned.
