Job summary

Luxottica is seeking a Licensed Optician to help lead our Luxury Retail stores in California by building and maintaining a strong client following and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will support the Store Manager to ensure optical quality controls are in compliance and you will stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and state licensure or certification as an optician.
• 2+ years sales experience in luxury service industry.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• Natural ability to build a client following.
• Polished appearance and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high standards of sales and service.
• Exceeds client service and sales standards with exceptional experiences.
• Connects with customers to build a strong client following.
• Guides customers in selecting frames and lenses for lifestyle, RX, and price.
• Accurately takes measurements, fits eyewear, and ensures quality.
• Ensures finished eyewear meets luxury retail standards.
• Stays current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales.
• Maintains presentation standards on floor and back office.
• Maintains inventory controls.
• Trains and mentors Managers and Associates.
