Job summary

The Minibar Attendant at Warren Street Hotel in New York, NY, supports daily minibar operations, stocking, rotating and charging guests for items, while ensuring presentation standards and accurate posting. You will liaise with housekeeping and management to maintain seamless guest service and uphold allergy and safety procedures.

We seek a detail‑oriented team player with knowledge of wine and beverages, experience with Micros POS, and flexibility to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus).
• Must understand how to use POS programs such as Micros.
• Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Has a keen sense of attention to detail within your workspace.
• Able to keep track of inventory and ordering.
• Take personal responsibility for punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stock, itemize, and clean guest room minibars daily.
• Take inventory, process guest charges for consumed items, and ensure accurate posting.
• Ensure rotation of minibar products and maintain proper presentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding issues or discrepancies.
• Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants, and practice upselling techniques where appropriate.
• Liaise with other departments to guarantee seamless guest service.
• Follow allergy and safety procedures at all times.
