Job summary

Ross-Simons in Warwick, RI, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team on-site. You will coach floor staff, deliver a warm, knowledgeable customer experience, and partner with the Store Manager to meet sales and operational goals.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities including staff development, inventory control, and maintaining brand standards. Prior jewelry retail experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales experience; jewelry or luxury retail preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory or keyholder experience.
• Willingness to complete GIA or equivalent training for diamonds/gemstones.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sales associates on the sales floor and coach for performance.
• Deliver consultative, relationship-driven selling across fine jewelry, watches, and gifts.
• Meet or exceed personal and store sales targets and financing attachment goals.
• Support in-store events, trunk shows, and seasonal promotions.
• Oversee scheduling to balance customer coverage with payroll budget.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence.
