Job summary

Southall Farm & Inn seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor in Franklin, TN to ensure high standards of cleanliness and smooth operation across the property. You will lead the Rooms and Public Areas teams, coordinate daily tasks, and uphold brand standards.

The role requires strong cleaning technique knowledge, safety in handling equipment and chemicals, and the ability to assist Rooms Leadership with organizational tasks. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication and excellent telephone etiquette.
• 3–5 years hotel housekeeping or laundry experience; luxury environment a plus.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, suites, cottages, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition meet standards.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and coordinate opening procedures, linen and terry distribution, VIP room preparations, and daily housekeeping operations.
• Ensure team members follow standards, policies, and procedures; assign daily work and monitor progress.
• Develop knowledge of room types, layouts, amenities, and configurations; uphold cleanliness expectations for each accommodation type.
• Communicate clearly with guests, team members, and leadership; provide direction and respond to questions.
• Lead, mentor, and coach housekeeping team members to foster a positive, collaborative environment.
