Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality Management in Franklin, TN is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards and safety guidelines.

You will coach a small team, coordinate schedules, train staff, and respond to guest requests promptly, while upholding quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Previous hotel supervisory experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of housekeeping or hotel supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise housekeeping team and daily activities.
• Train staff on standards, safety, and best practices.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality.
• Assign schedules and room duties; manage keys and access.
• Address guest requests and resolve concerns promptly.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding new staff.
• Monitor inventory of linens and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure follow-up.
• Promote a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
