Job summary

Omni Las Colinas invites passionate individuals to join our Housekeeping team. The Houseperson collaborates with attendants to maintain rooms and public areas, handles guest requests, and supports daily operations to ensure luxury standards.

This role requires clear English communication, physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and development opportunities are provided within Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in fluent English.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience as a coordinator and/or answering phones strongly preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and do repetitive movements for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20-25 pounds intermittently, and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull a housekeeping supply cart.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Housekeeping Department meetings/huddle daily.
• Communicate effectively with all departments.
• Respond to all phone calls/requests on behalf of guests and other departments.
• Maintain clear and efficient communication with the Front Desk and Engineering.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all working areas.
• Work closely with other housekeeping associates, helping as needed.
• Retrieve soiled linen and garbage from Guest Rooms and Room Attendants' carts and/or storage closets to dispose of through the linen chute or dumpsters.
• Maintain hallways, reporting maintenance issues and special cleaning assignments.
• Deliver guest amenities or special requests to guest rooms.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly projects as assigned by Housekeeping Managers/Supervisors
• Clean stairwells, elevators, and hallways free from debris and room service trays
• Maintain housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies upon delivery and restocking of floors
