Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts, including its Mokara Hotel & Spa property in San Antonio, seeks a Valet Attendant to warmly greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and ensure safe, courteous service. You will inspect vehicles, assist with bags, provide directions, and maintain clean, orderly garage operations in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications include being 21+, a valid TX driver license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid TX Driver License.
• Must be able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival/departure in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Park or retrieve guest cars adhering to safety standards.
• Inspect guest cars for exterior or interior damage and notify supervisor.
• Ensure guests receive car tickets for identification and billing.
• Offer assistance (luggage, directions) and communicate guests' needs.
• Follow procedures when using hotel equipment.
• Maintain Safe and Clean guidelines, including masks and distancing.
• Monitor garage area for safety and report incidents as needed.
• Report accidents to supervisor and ensure guest notice of damage.
• Keep garage area clean and notify housekeeping of spills or trash.
• Complete parking garage forms and handle cash/credit procedures when required.
• Perform any other duties to support department operations.
