Job summary

Highgate is seeking a Valet at a New Orleans luxury hotel. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and park/retrieve guest vehicles at the porte cochere.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, maintaining curb appeal, and ensuring safety and security. The role requires excellent communication, physical stamina, and a clean driver record. On-site role with benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• At least two years driving experience preferred.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at hotel entrance.
• Assist guests with luggage to curbside and direct them to front desk or other areas.
• Valet guest cars and retrieve vehicles, ensuring keys are safe and secure.
• Assist guests with directions and information about the property.
• Maintain porte cochere cleanliness and monitor traffic.
• Diplomatically handle guest requests and complaints.
• Ensure safety/security procedures are followed and reported as needed.
