Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts, overseeing The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club in Virginia Beach, seeks an Outlet Helper to assist the Outlet Manager and servers, ensuring a clean, welcoming dining area and stellar guest service.

Primary duties include clearing and resetting tables, stocking stations, serving beverages and replenishing items while maintaining safety and proper station upkeep. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move or push goods up to 150 lbs with a cart or truck.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty table settings quickly and reset tables promptly.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Serve guests with beverages, bread and butter and replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Attend regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
