Hotel Nikko San Francisco is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, staff, and property while delivering Forbes Five-Star level service. The role involves monitoring posts, reporting, and collaborating with law enforcement as needed in a luxury hotel setting.

Experience in luxury hotel security is preferred; weekend/holiday shifts and flexible hours are required. The team emphasizes hospitality-driven, professional, and friendly service in a dynamic environment near Union Square.

Qualifications

• One year of hotel/security experience is required; military or law enforcement experience is a plus.
• Candidate must be available to work weekends, holidays and all shifts (AM/PM/MID/overnight).
• Must read, write and understand English fluently with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hospitality-driven, positive, professional, friendly attitude and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard hotel assets, including employees and guests.
• Provide exceptional employee and guest service at all times.
• Address suspicious individuals and unauthorized areas.
• Escort employees and guests as directed.
• Prepare detailed written reports.
• Control and monitor the post to minimize risk and ensure safety.
• Manage dispatch duties: calls, computers, surveillance, keys, badging, radio traffic.
• Render basic first aid, CPR/AED as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
