Job summary

The Restaurant General Manager at the Biltmore Hotel leads the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, drives revenue and profitability, and ensures an elevated guest experience aligned with BSOPs.

You will mentor managers and service staff, manage budgets and labor, partner with Culinary and hotel leadership, and uphold luxury service standards across all service touchpoints.

Five years of progressive restaurant leadership in upscale settings and a hospitality degree are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive restaurant management experience.
• Experience in high-volume, upscale, luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.
• Proven experience managing financial performance, labor, inventory, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for restaurant operations, ensuring elevated guest experience and strong operational execution.
• Own restaurant financial performance, including revenue, labor, operating expenses, and cost of goods sold.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, develop, and retain restaurant managers and employees; establish clear expectations and accountability for performance and service standards.
• Maintain luxury service standards for greeting, seating, table maintenance, menu presentation, and guest engagement.
• Collaborate with Culinary leadership and hotel departments to support budget, forecasts, menus, and outlet strategies.
