Job summary

The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing & Receiving Agent to support purchasing, receiving, and inventory operations. You will help ensure departments have quality products, manage vendor relationships, and monitor deliveries to uphold luxury standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in purchasing/receiving, strong organizational skills, and a focus on cost-conscious procurement to support Forbes Travel Guide and Marriott Luxury

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, receiving, inventory management, or a related role.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Luxury hotel or Marriott experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily purchasing needs of hotel departments, obtain and compare vendor quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Receive, inspect, verify deliveries, and ensure accuracy against invoices and purchase orders.
• Maintain organized receiving areas, inventory locations, and participate in counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Maintain records of inventory movements and supplier communications; support timely distribution of goods.
