The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, is seeking a meticulous General Accountant with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable to join the Finance team. The role also supports Accounts Payable and general accounting duties across the hotel’s financial operations.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with numbers, value accuracy, and build professional relationships with internal partners. Hotel accounting experience and Marriott familiarity are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or related financial experience preferred.
• No college degree required.
• Previous hotel accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus.
• Marriott hotel experience is a plus.
• Experience with hotel property management and accounting systems preferred.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable, direct billing, invoicing, payment application, and collections is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions for the hotel.
• Prepare, review, and distribute accurate invoices and statements to clients, groups, corporate accounts, and other customers.
• Post and apply payments accurately and timely to appropriate accounts.
• Review aging reports and communicate collection concerns to Finance leadership.
• Assist with month-end Accounts Receivable processes and reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payable coverage and related administrative responsibilities.
