Sofitel New York is seeking a motivated Rooms Manager-In-Training (MIT) to join our Rooms Division and develop a strong foundation in luxury hotel operations on-site in New York City.

The role offers structured cross-functional development across Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Services, with hands-on exposure to payroll-related activities and opportunities to work with experienced Rooms leaders and Heartists.

Qualificações

• 3 years of accounting experience with supervisory/managerial exposure
• Experience with hotel payroll and union payroll
• Professional designation or relevant degree in accounting/payroll management or en route to such program
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with hotel operating systems and payroll processes

Responsabilidades

• Assist in payroll processing to ensure timely payment of wages
• Manage timeclocks and attendance data for payroll
• Prepare and reconcile payroll journals and reports for DOF/ADOF
• Support month-end reporting and internal controls incl. union reporting
• Assist with payroll-related trainings and policy improvements
• Organize and maintain on-site/off-site file storage and records
• Collaborate with accounting team on daily tasks and cross-training
