Job summary

The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA is seeking a Full-Time Pastry Team Member to produce and refine desserts, following recipes and chef directions. You will keep a clean station, assist interns and cooks, and maintain high quality while supporting pastry operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree or Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts; 2 years related work experience may be substituted for education.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification.
• Complete a baking and pastry practical exam to test actual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce dessert and bakery products following recipes and chef directions.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work environment daily.
• Project professional attitude at all times.
• Prepare mise en place for required covers.
• Assist Pastry Interns and Pastry Cooks in daily tasks.
