Farmhouse Inn is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to preserve the guest experience at our Forbes-rated luxury property. The role covers building systems, guestrooms, public areas, and grounds through preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily support.

The ideal candidate is proactive, craftsman-minded, and collaborates across departments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction in a premium environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in hospitality or a similar environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and general building maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on guestrooms, public spaces, mechanical systems, and equipment.
• Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, lighting, appliances, doors and drywall.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance, safety compliance, and inventory management.
