Job summary

The InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is seeking a Houseperson to support housekeeping by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and assisting room attendants on assigned floors.

You will respond to guest requests, help with deep cleaning, and ensure a comfortable, welcoming experience for guests in a premier luxury hotel. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to speak English preferred.
• Strong communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily coordination with other departments.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action.
• Assist with delivering housekeeping supplies to rooms and storage areas.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
