Job summary

Battle House Hotel and Spa, part of the Marriott family, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Mobile, AL. The role oversees daily housekeeping and laundry operations, ensures linen and supply inventory, trains staff, and responds promptly to guest service calls to maintain exceptional standards.

The supervisor coordinates security with master keys, schedules tasks, and maintains AA A inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating housekeeping operations and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Exceptional guest service abilities with prompt responses to service calls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily sign-in/out of master keys and monitor security and productivity.
• Assign daily tasks like high/low dusting and coffee pot cleaning to ensure cleanliness standards.
• Manage linen orders, inventory checks, and par levels for linens and supplies.
• Ensure AAA inspection room standards are met and maintain Linen Standard of Operating Procedures.
• Oversee weekly inventory, procurement of cleaning and guest supplies within budgeted wages.
• Lead pre-shift staffing planning based on occupancy, guest satisfaction, and costs.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping Manager to maintain a comprehensive cleaning schedule.
• Monitor attendance and tardiness to ensure a reliable workforce.
