Job summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Grand Bohemian Lodge Greenville is responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections, and for assuming all Housekeeping Manager duties in his/her absence, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Shifts are Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Sat 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM–6:30 PM; weekends and holidays are a requirement for this position. You may be required to assist with cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Room Attendant's work performance within assigned section on a daily basis to ensure standards and productivity levels are met.
• In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager, inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office.
• Oversee closing of floors, ensure carts are clean and restocked.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and sign-off.
• Handle Lost and Found per standards.
• Monitor cleanliness of carts and linen/closets.
• Oversee daily duty assignments for Room Attendants and House Attendants.
• Carry pager/radio to maintain contact with Front Office/Engineering.
• Report progress on out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager.
• Initiate and follow through on maintenance work orders.
• Assist with training of Housekeeping staff.
• May clean rooms as needed.
• Ensure completion of cleaning projects biannually.
• Aim for overall guest satisfaction.
