Job summary

Hilton's The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public spaces, and team areas. You will inspect areas, plan improvements, and drive guest and team member satisfaction while supporting financial performance.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to train and supervise room attendants to meet SOPs and LSOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in hotel housekeeping or related field.
• Effective communication both verbally and written.
• Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns from team and guests.
• Experience working in a labor organized environment preferred.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verify guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect guestrooms daily.
• Prepare work assignments from cleaning lists and prospective check-outs.
• Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Supervise an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public spaces.
• Understand the impact of department operations on hotel success.
• Provide supplies, equipment, and uniforms; ensure policies are followed.
• Communicate needs to staff and follow up for completion.
• Participate in departmental meetings and communicate goals clearly.
