Job summary

Mandarin Oriental New York invites applications for a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team in a luxury hotel setting. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional guest room cleanliness, training staff, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.

Based in NYC, you will report to the Director of Housekeeping, supervise attendants, manage daily operations, and oversee guest requests from arrival to departure, with PM shifts and weekend work expected.

Qualifications

• Possess 2 years’ housekeeping management experience or management in a similar field.
• Must possess previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
• Must possess a proper understanding of PMS systems and deficiency reporting systems.
• Must be willing to work PM and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Guest requests: ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance with standards.
• General management: maintain cleanliness and service standards; coordinate with Engineering; train and supervise staff.
• Staff training and communication: conduct daily pre-shift meetings; train and monitor housekeeping teams; ensure proper grooming and room readiness.
