Job summary

PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager Hotel, is seeking a Host/Hostess in West Hollywood to deliver outstanding guest service, greet guests, and manage seating with a keen eye for detail. You will work with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and VIP guest handling.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and special events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and late hours.
• Must commit to 3-4 shifts per week.
• Maintain high level of appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Must report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to multitask and manage seating flow in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests.
• Coordinate with restaurant manager and team before, during, and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and station.
• Greet guests at the entrance and seat them per floor plan.
• Ensure reservations are honored and VIPs are identified and managed.
