Job summary

San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the property’s finance functions for a luxury lodging asset. This hands-on role covers accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls in collaboration with ownership and external advisers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in hotel finance, strong USALI expertise, and a track record of building high-impact finance teams. This position is based on-site at a luxury property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance hotel experience.
• Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
• Partner with ownership and operational leadership for financial planning and decisions.
• Oversee accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, GL, and income audit.
• Prepare and review GAAP-financial statements and balance sheets.
