Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Luxury Hotel Executive Chef in Miami. The right candidate combines mastery of classic and progressive cooking with menu refreshment, including banquet programs, and partners with the Executive team on hotel operations.

You will lead a high-profile culinary program, manage recipes and SOPs, mentor the culinary team, and uphold budgetary goals for labor and COGs while elevating guest experience in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Strong background in classic and progressive cooking.
• Experience updating menus and SOPs for luxury dining.
• Experience with budgets, food cost, and labor control.

Responsibilities

• Run an efficient culinary program.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and SOPs.
• Teach and manage culinary team on recipes and expectations.
• Be a presentable and marketable figure in the hotel.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines for labor and COGs.
• Foster a positive kitchen culture and cross-team collaboration.
