Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Executive Chef for a unique Luxury Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classic and progressive cooking, with experience in menu refreshing and banquet programs, working with the executive team on operations, and managing stakeholders with professionalism.

The role requires leadership of the culinary team, budget adherence for labor and COGs, and the ability to maintain a refined, marketable kitchen presence within a luxury hotel

Qualifications

• 3 years of Exec. Chef experience.
• At least 3 years in high-end, fine dining (Michelin experience preferred).
• Experience with hotel banquets and a la carte dining.
• Stong financial acumen and ability to work within food cost and labor cost guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Run an efficient culinary program.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and SOPs in concert with leadership.
• Teach and manage Culinary team on all recipes and expectations.
• Be a presentable and a marketable figure in the hotel.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines for Labor and COGs.
• Foster a positive kitchen culture and collaborative relationships with FOH teams.

Luxury Hotel Executive Chef Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience Exec. Chef
• At least 3 years experience in a high-end, fine dining restaurant (Michelin experience preferred)
• Experience with Hotel banquets and a la carte dining
• Formal Culinary Education preferred
• Stong financial acumen and ability to work within food cost and labor cost guidelines
• Highly creative with a unique, distinct, and attractive style
• Refined and professional craftsmanship, plating, and design
