Chartwell Hospitality is seeking a Class I Engineer to keep guest rooms and public areas fully operable, ensuring guest comfort and safety at its Nashville hotels. You will use carpentry, painting, and electrical skills to troubleshoot and repair, respond to guest requests promptly, and assist with grounds upkeep.

We require effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift at least 40 pounds; a pickup-truck may be needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma with technical or vocational schooling preferred.
• Hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, and electrical work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Knowledge of driving a pick-up truck may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Take regular action to keep guest room and areas fully operable for guest comfort and safety and the work environment safe for fellow associates.
• Use your wits and technical abilities to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently.
• Respond courteously to guest requests promptly and resolve matters to the guest’s satisfaction.
• Help with grounds upkeep.
• Help keep the mechanical areas safe, orderly, and clean and maintain legible, orderly records.
