Job summary

InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is seeking a personable bartender to join the lobby bar. You’ll welcome guests, prepare beverages to exacting standards, and assist in delivering memorable experiences in a luxury setting.

You’ll work with colleagues across Food & Beverage, stock and set up the bar, handle transactions, and follow safety procedures while presenting a polished, brand-aligned image for guests and locals alike.

Qualifications

• Fitness and stamina to be on your feet all day.
• Lifts and moves 50lbs (23 kg) when needed.
• Fluent in the local language and basic math is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest.
• Prepare and serve drinks to high standards and mention promotions.
• Collaborate with restaurant colleagues for seamless service.
• Set up the bar, stock supplies, and manage inventory.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and ensure alcohol security.
