Job summary

A premier Forbes 5-Star luxury hotel in Los Angeles County seeks an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support elevated dining operations. You will oversee daily service, uphold LQA standards, and drive exceptional guest experiences in a high-end environment.

Lead a skilled team, collaborate with culinary colleagues, and ensure flawless execution of daily operations, guest relations, and banquets in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of restaurant management experience in a fine dining environment.
• Hotel or resort restaurant management experience is required.
• Forbes 5-Star hotel experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Toast and OpenTable systems.
• Current Manager ServSafe and TIPS certifications are required.
• Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and cover for the Restaurant GM as needed.
• Create a warm, hospitable guest experience and address concerns about food, service or accommodations.
• Train, coach, and evaluate service staff and maintain high service standards.
• Manage inventories, cash receipts, staffing levels, and labor cost objectives.
• Maintain compliance with hotel standards and health regulations (LQA) and safety policies.
• Collaborate with culinary team to ensure seamless service and support banquet/event operations.
