Job summary

Bluejack Builders is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional to act as the primary contact for inquiries, orders, and vendor communications. You will coordinate POs for home builds in Buildertrend, negotiate pricing, and manage cost data for bids and change orders.

The role requires 2+ years in residential construction, solid knowledge of contracts, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and BuilderTrend. This is an in-office, full-time position based in Texas with regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in the new home residential construction industry.
• Ability to review and interpret contract documents, plans and specs.
• Knowledge of construction materials and processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and BuilderTrend software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for all purchasing inquiries, orders, and vendor communications.
• Coordinate purchase orders for all builds and resolve issues in Buildertrend.
• Negotiate with suppliers for quality products at optimum pricing.
• Facilitate vendor bidding, tracking, and award process.
• Compile cost analysis for bids and manage cost data for change orders.
• Ensure contract compliance and assist with budget creation.
