Job summary

JOMED CONSTRUCTION CORP in Miami, FL seeks a Project Manager / Superintendent to run multiple high-end residential projects from preconstruction through turnover. You will own field operations and be the main contact for clients and design teams.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating trades, managing budgets, and ensuring safety and quality on site. Excellent communication with homeowners and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing or superintending high-end residential construction.
• Experience running multiple projects at once.
• Working knowledge of the Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade permitting and inspections.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project and Excel.
• OSHA 30 required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule start and completion dates for each phase and staff accordingly.
• Build and maintain the project schedule and coordinate trades.
• Order tools, equipment and materials to match the schedule.
• Direct and supervise subcontractors and direct labor on site.
• Inspect work for conformance with plans and schedule; maintain high finishes.
• Receive materials and ensure proper on-site deliveries; manage inspections.
• Run submittals, RFIs and shop drawings; manage owner selections and allowances.
• Serve as main contact for homeowners, architects, designers and owner reps.
• Hold regular owner meetings and provide written updates on schedule and budget.
• Enforce safety rules; conduct regular safety meetings on site.
• Create punch lists; deliver complete turnover and manage warranty items.
