Job summary

Rushmore Construction Group is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to lead on-site activities across multiple residential projects in Monmouth County, NJ. You will work closely with subcontractors, inspect work, read blueprints, and enforce plans, codes, and Rushmore's quality standards.

This field-first role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, timely issue resolution, and clear communication with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and ensure top-tier craftsmanship

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on residential construction experience.
• Custom-home construction experience valued.
• Knowledge of New Jersey residential building codes.
• Ability to read construction drawings and translate to field execution.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel between active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site presence across multiple residential projects.
• Monitor subcontractor work for plan/spec compliance and quality.
• Verify materials, fasteners, and installation methods per plans.
• Conduct quality-control walkthroughs before trades advance.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies with subcontractors.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with inspectors and communicate issues to PM.
• Manage subcontractor schedules and site sequencing.
• Maintain punch lists and prepare projects for handover.
