Job summary

RS Mannino is seeking a Construction Superintendent to manage on-site operations for high-end single-family residential projects across Northern NJ and NYC. You will oversee subcontractors, crews, and field logistics to ensure quality, schedule, and safety align with design intent and construction documents.

The role requires 3–5 years of residential experience, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with Buildertrend.

Qualifications

3–5 years of single‑family residential construction experience.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar project management tools.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field workflows.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities at multiple active job sites.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, material deliveries, and field logistics.
Maintain daily job logs, upload field documentation, and track progress in Buildertrend.
Ensure work is performed safely, to code, and in accordance with approved plans.
Supervise in‑house laborers and assign daily responsibilities.
Perform quality control checks and flag deviations from drawings or specs.
Draft material requests and assist with purchase orders.
Manage site cleanliness, tool inventory, and protection protocols.
Coordinate inspections and readiness for key milestones.
Communicate regularly with the owner about progress and field conditions.
