Job summary

WRMC, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support a luxury high-rise residential community in Downtown Austin.

You will perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure safety and appearance of building systems and common areas. You will handle basic repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry, assist with move-ins/move-outs, coordinate with vendors, and participate in the on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or property settings.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and resident-facing communication.
• Experience coordinating with vendors/contractors is a plus.
• EPA Certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of building systems and common areas.
• Complete basic repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of lobbies, hallways, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Respond to maintenance requests and identify issues early.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and monitor work.
• Assist with move-ins/move-outs and elevator operations as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment following safety procedures.
