VIP Systems in Miramar, FL is seeking a Low Voltage CAD Designer to contribute to luxury high-rise, commercial, and hospitality projects. You will develop construction drawings from design through completion, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and field teams.

The role focuses on AutoCAD, floor plans, riser diagrams, rack elevations, and as-built documentation, with emphasis on accuracy, coordination, and adherence to CAD standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years AutoCAD drafting experience.
• Experience in low-voltage, electrical, telecommunications, MEP, or construction industries.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency.
• Experience preparing construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of structured cabling, CCTV, access control, telecommunications, or network systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain AutoCAD drawings for structured cabling systems.
• Create drawings for fiber optic infrastructure.
• Design access control systems and network infrastructure.
