Job summary

Omni Hotels in Indianapolis seeks a Guest Room Attendant to maintain high cleanliness standards in guest rooms. You will refresh rooms for ongoing stays and thoroughly clean rooms after checkout to prepare for new guests.

Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, restocking items, and reporting room status. The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Prior housekeeping experience required or other relevant environmental services experience.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms including: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Uphold Omni Safe and Clean processes.
• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms.
• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion.
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
• Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times.
• Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order.
• Maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards.
• Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations.
• Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
• Perform any other duties required by management.
